PLASTIC FREE RENDERING:
We don’t want any micro-plastics or lead leaching into our tallow...do you? We avoid the plastic-coated crock pots and kettles and process our tallow plastic free!

HERBAL INFUSIONS:
We directly infuse organic whole plant materials into our tallow (no essential oils here!). You can rest assured that our balms are perfect for those with sensitive skin, newborns and pregnant mothers.

DRY RENDERED TO PRESERVE NUTRIENTS:
Dry rendering is the process of using heat to melt the suet without the addition of water. Adding water refines and purifies the tallow to strip it of its smell and color, however it also alters the nutrient profile causing a loss in key fatty acids that are beneficial to the skin. We use the dry method to offer a more nutrient dense, natural product. The less processing the better!

NON-GMO, GRASS-FED & GRASS-FINISHED:
We source only the most nutrient rich suet from around the kidneys. The cows are 100% grass fed & grass finished, pasture raised year-round. We do not use trim fat or fat from corn-fed cows, only premium, nutrient-rich suet to have the best possible product for our skin!

LOW PUFA:
Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) easily oxidize in response to heat or light. 
Oxidation  -> free radicals -> premature aging and cellular damage. 
We purposefully choose only zero or low PUFA ingredients for our skincare products.

ETHICALLY SOURCED:
Our suet comes from certified Animal Welfare Pasture Raised sustainable ranches in Florida. Our farms practice regenerative farming, raise their cows with the greatest of care, and feed them as nature intended (year long pasture grazing and no pain/no stress to the cows).
